Privacy Policy

Overview

Our apps are designed to be simple, practical tools. Where possible, app data is stored locally on your device. We do not sell your personal information, and our apps do not include advertising at launch.

Some third-party services may process limited information so our apps can provide purchases, crash diagnostics, maps, routing or other core functionality.

Countdown Moments

Countdown Moments helps you create countdowns, reminders and home screen widgets for personal events.

The app may store the following information on your device:

• Countdown names
• Dates and times
• Notes
• Theme choices
• Reminder settings
• Widget settings
• References to photos you choose for countdown backgrounds

Selected photos are used only to display your countdowns and widgets. Countdown Moments does not upload your photos to a Polgara Studio server.

If you enable reminders, the app may ask for notification permission so it can show reminder notifications. The app may also use device restart permission to reschedule reminders after your device restarts.

Countdown Moments uses Firebase Crashlytics to help identify crashes and stability issues. Crashlytics may collect diagnostic information such as crash logs, device information, app version, operating system version and related technical details.

Countdown Moments uses RevenueCat and Google Play Billing to manage optional purchases, subscriptions, paid features and purchase restoration. We do not receive or store your full payment card details.

Route Me

Route Me helps you plan stops, appointments, errands and travel time to check whether your day is realistic.

The app may let you enter:

• Plan names
• Stop names
• Addresses or place names
• Appointment times
• Time windows
• Stop durations
• Travel mode
• Buffer settings

Route Me stores your current plan and saved plans locally on your device.

Route Me does not request background location access.

When you type, confirm, optimise or check a stop, Route Me may send address text, place names or coordinates to map and routing services so the app can provide address suggestions, route ordering, travel-time estimates, feasibility checks and map handoff links.

These services may include OpenStreetMap/Nominatim, OSRM routing services, Google Maps or Apple Maps. These services process information under their own privacy policies.

Do not enter sensitive locations if you do not want them sent to map or routing services.

Route Me may offer optional paid features through Google Play Billing and RevenueCat. Purchase status and entitlement information may be processed to unlock paid features and restore purchases.

Stud Finder: Stud Assist

Stud Finder: Stud Assist helps users estimate likely timber stud locations behind plasterboard. The app is an assistant only. It does not see through walls and does not guarantee safe drilling locations.

The app may use the following device inputs:

• Magnetometer readings for possible screw, nail or metal-fixing clues
• Accelerometer and gyroscope readings for tap vibration and scan steadiness
• Optional microphone access for tap sound comparison
• Manual user inputs such as wall type, load type, safety flags and validation notes

Microphone access is optional. It is used only for tap sound comparison. If microphone permission is denied, users can still enter tap results manually.

Wall scan data, sensor readings, microphone audio, wall maps, validation notes and safety answers are not uploaded to a Polgara Studio server.

Stud Finder: Stud Assist may use RevenueCat and Google Play Billing to manage optional purchases, subscriptions, paid features and purchase restoration. We do not receive or store your full payment card details.

Purchases and subscriptions

Our apps may use Google Play Billing and RevenueCat to manage purchases, subscriptions, free trials, paid features, entitlement status and purchase restoration.

These services may process information such as:

• Anonymous app user identifiers
• Product identifiers
• Purchase history
• Receipt information
• Subscription or entitlement status
• Device or technical identifiers required for purchase management

Payment processing is handled by Google Play. Polgara Studio does not receive or store full payment card details.

Advertising

Our apps do not include advertising at launch.

If advertising is added in the future, this Privacy Policy will be updated before release to explain what advertising services are used and what information they may process.

Analytics and crash diagnostics

Some apps may use crash diagnostics services such as Firebase Crashlytics to help us understand crashes and improve app stability.

Crash diagnostics may include technical information such as:

• Device model
• Operating system version
• App version
• Crash logs
• Technical diagnostic data

Our current plan is not to use advertising identifiers or advertising SDKs at launch.

Data storage

Most app data is stored locally on your device.

Depending on your Android settings, Google or Android device backup features may back up app data. You can manage device backup through your Android or Google account settings.

Polgara Studio does not currently provide user accounts or cloud sync for these apps. If account sync or cloud storage is added in the future, this Privacy Policy will be updated before release.

Data sharing

We do not sell your personal information.

We may share limited information with service providers only where needed for app functionality, including:

• Google Play Billing for purchases and subscriptions
• RevenueCat for purchase entitlement management
• Firebase Crashlytics for crash diagnostics
• Map and routing services for Route Me location, address and route features

If you contact support, we will use your email address and message to respond to your request.

Data retention and deletion

Local app data remains on your device until you delete it, clear the app’s storage or uninstall the app.

For Countdown Moments, you can delete countdowns inside the app or remove app data by uninstalling the app or clearing app storage.

For Route Me, saved plans remain on your device until you delete them in the app, clear app storage or uninstall the app.

For Stud Finder: Stud Assist, wall scan data and sensor data are not stored on a Polgara Studio server.

Purchase and entitlement records may be retained by Google Play and RevenueCat according to their own policies and legal requirements.

Support emails may be retained for as long as needed to respond to your request, maintain business records and meet legal obligations.

Account deletion

Our apps do not currently require user accounts.

Because there are no app accounts, there is no account deletion process. Users can remove local app data by deleting saved items, clearing app storage or uninstalling the app.

If user accounts are added in the future, this Privacy Policy and the relevant app will be updated with account deletion instructions.

Children’s privacy

Our apps are not directed to children under 13.

If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact support@polgarastudio.com and we will take reasonable steps to address the issue.

Safety notice for Stud Finder: Stud Assist

Stud Finder: Stud Assist is a guide only. It cannot detect every wire, pipe, gas line, bracket, metal stud or other hazard.

Always check for electrical wiring, plumbing, gas, pipes and load requirements before drilling. Use a proper wall scanner or contact a qualified tradesperson for heavy, structural or safety-critical installations.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when our apps, website, services or legal requirements change.
